Driven Baseball Official Color

2016FallBBJerseyFrontPROGRAM OVERVIEW:

As with all things Driven, this opportunity is about the players: development, recruiting opportunities, and enjoyment of the game. Originally an idea of Travis Parker; this team continues to offer opportunities to Nebraska high school baseball players to compete against college-level talent in front of area coaches. Driven Academy’s coaches know the system, know the coaches, and can help guide athletes through the complicated and sometimes intimidating recruiting process.

A schedule of games with area colleges consisting of weekend double-headers at the universities' facilities. The team will practice once/week and will be provided with a Driven jersey and hat.

2016FallBBJerseyBackPHILOSOPHY & STANDARDS:

Designed to bring the best talent Lincoln area high school baseball has to offer to college campuses in the surrounding area; The Driven Academy Fall Baseball Program is a great option for athletes to compete at the next level and work on developing their skills for that next level. We are looking to fill a roster of 18 players this season to work with Coaches Travis Parker and Justin VanDyke. They have both been through this process and have successfully developed players over the past few years.

To qualify to participate— Players may not be involved in an NSAA sanctioned fall sport unless written approval is given by the high school coach.

The team's focus will be four-fold...

  • Further development and repetition at The Driven Academy, including Video Analysis and access to our 6,000 square foot facility
  • The opportunity to play college-level talent
  • The opportunity to visit campuses, meet coaches and admission staff, and be seen by area college programs.
  • Driven staff will also educate players and parents on the recruitment process and are available to put together recruiting packages and recruiting videos for participating players.
