Lesson FAQ's

  • When are lessons scheduled?
    Lessons are scheduled at your convenience, subject to coach availability. With over a dozen coaches, we can find you a coach for about any time slot you can imagine.
  • How are lessons scheduled?
    Lessons can be scheduled online through our website or the Mindbody Mobile application - or in person at the counter or by phone 402-464-0100. You can even send an email to info@thedrivenacademy.com and we'll call you to schedule.
  • Which coach do I choose?
    Our coaches do have some specialties in terms of working on specific skills and their gifts for working with different age groups and personalities. We encourage you to check out their profiles on our website and give us a call at 402-464-0100. We are happy to recommend a coach or two based on your player’s needs.
  • Can 2 players share a lesson?
    Two players can share a lesson; each will alternate sets with the instructor over the 30-minute time period while the other waits at a safe distance. This does not apply to our new player assessment offer; the player assessment is designed for a single player. For 3 or more players, please contact us about group rates and options.
  • Can my lesson focus on more than 1 skill?
    Yes; please book the lesson according to the primary skill you want to work on – but talk to the Driven staff and\or coach before your lesson about any other skills you want to work on and we can accommodate you.
  • Can I schedule lessons for longer than 30 Minutes?
    Yes; please call us and we will run it past your coach to ensure they agree you are ready for the additional commitment and we can also help you schedule back-to-back time slots in our system.

  • Is my satisfaction guaranteed?
    Absolutely! If you do not feel your lesson was taught by a qualified instructor who was focused on your needs; we'll refund the price of the lesson.
  • What is the Driven methodology?
    Our coaches have an image of the ideal pitch \ throw \ swing \ etc in their mind. Their task working with your athlete is to take their technique from where it is today and systematically reshape it to match that ideal model. Sometimes a simple adjustment can make a huge difference, but often it is a process that happens over a series of lessons where we might have to adjust the footwork - before we can fix the hand position. Through the guidance of our Directors, who both have a Masters degree in Educational Psychology, our coaches know that players only retain a small portion of what they hear, more of what they see, and the most from what they feel. This is why we use a progression of discussion, demonstration, drills-at-Driven, and drills-for-home that focus on a specific aspect of the motion and systematically build their retention.
  • What guest ammenities are available?
    You are more than welcome to watch your player's lesson from the cage area, or relax in our comfy waiting area complete with DirectTV, Free Wi-Fi, and air-conditioning / heat.
  • What are the lesson Terms & Conditions?
    Individual Lessons Terms & Conditions 1) Payment: Customers may pay for individual lessons in advance, such as booking online, or at the time Driven renders the service. Customers may pay for all individual lessons by cash, credit, or check. 2) Valid: Individual lessons purchased in advance, are valid 1-month from purchase 3) Transferability: Non-Transferable 4) Refund: 50% refund for the unused portion, within 1-month of the original purchase 5) Reschedule Fee: $0.00 6) Early Cancellation Fee: $0.00 when cancelled more than 24-hours in advance 7) Late Cancellation Fee: 50% of the lesson cost; late cancellation fee waived if the lesson is rescheduled 8) No Show Fee: 100% of the lesson cost 9) Terms & Conditions are subject to change
  • What are the 10-pack Terms & Conditions?
    Lesson Multipack Terms & Conditions: 1) Payment: Customers must pay for lesson multipacks in advance, either online or in person.
