About the Instructors

Claire Morris
Doctor Physical Therapy
Claire is a native of Sioux City, Iowa, and grew up with a passion for athletics and competition. It was this same interest in athletics and improving her own level of play which sparked her interest in physical therapy and learning more about the human body, including injury rehabilitation. She pursued that interest through college as she furthered her education in the sciences, and was also fortunate enough to play basketball for 4 years at Santa Clara University.

Claire has been practicing physical therapy since 2012, and enjoys working with a variety of patient types including orthopedics and sports rehabilitation. She enjoys working with patients of all backgrounds, and has a particular interest in working with young athletes who are driven in their sport.

• Graduated with a doctorate degree in physical therapy from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2012
• Earned Bachelor of Science degree in Combined Science from Santa Clara University in 2009
• Four year member of Santa Clara University’s women’s basketball team
• Special interest in athletic rehabilitation and ACL injury prevention
Darren Ferguson
MPT, ATC, SCS
Darren became interested in physical therapy at an early age after suffering an injury playing football and going through physical therapy at a local hospital. During that time he witnessed the compassion, knowledge, and fellowship that his therapist demonstrated to patients. That experience left an impression on him and pushed him to pursue a career in physical therapy.

Darren has been practicing for over 19 years. In that time he has continued to educate himself and maintained his passion for his patients. Darren really appreciates that he is able to work with people who are going through a tough time and walk along beside them as they are working through their injury.

• Graduated with Masters degree in physical therapy from Mayo School of Health Related Science in 1995.
• Earned Bachelor of Science degree in athletic training from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1992.
• Board certified in orthopedics by the American Physical Therapy Association as a Sports Clinical Specialist
• Certified Athletic Trainer.
• Special interest in sports rehabilitation and pediatric/adolescent orthopedics.
• Trained in ASTYM

  • When are special events available?
    Special events are offered at various times throughout the year. Be sure to check our Clinics page for the complete list. Some special events are a one-time opportunity, but others may be offered at a couple of different times. We try to make all the options clear on this page, but if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to give us a call for more information.
  • How are special events scheduled?
    Special events can be scheduled online through our website, in person at the facility, or by phone 402-464-0100. You can even send an email to info@thedrivenacademy.com and we'll call you to schedule.
  • Are special events refundable?
    Terms for early cancellation may vary per event, as some of these events utilize third party instructors who have their own policies. Any special event produced in-house by the Driven is by default, refundable up to 48 hours prior to the event. All special events are non-refundable once the event has begun.
  • Can I attend at different times?
    Normally no; we ask that you attend at your normally scheduled time. However, if for some reason you are unable to attend during your normal time slot, please give us a call and we will see if we can accommodate you at an alternate time.
